Core Competencies

We are a supply contractor. We do not perform construction, installation, or on-site labor — which means the requirements we accept are the ones we can deliver cleanly, on time, every time.

Sourcing

Spec-Exact Procurement

Brand-name or equal, documented line by line against every salient characteristic. No silent substitutions, no unverified equivalents.

Delivery

FOB Destination

Freight included and quoted firm to the delivery point. Inspection and acceptance at destination, with lead times committed in calendar days.

Compliance

Trade & Origin

Country of origin captured per line for Buy American and DFARS certification. New, unused, unrefurbished unless the solicitation states otherwise.

Redundancy

Two-Source Rule

No line is quoted on a single supplier. Every requirement carries a documented backup source before award, because supplier delay is not an excusable delay.

Responsiveness

Quote Turnaround

Written, verified supplier pricing assembled inside the solicitation window — including short-fuse and re-posted requirements other vendors let lapse.

Administration

Format Discipline

Quotes submitted in the exact required format and channel — PIEE, agency spreadsheet exhibit, or email — with reps and certs complete.

02

Past Performance

Performance history is recorded in CPARS and SPRS and is available to contracting officers directly. Details furnished on request.

Differentiators

01

An established record, not a new registration

Prior awards performed and closed, plus an active multi-year contract. The performance history a contracting officer can look up already exists.

02

We decline what we cannot deliver

Requirements with installation, site visits, or on-site labor are screened out before we quote. You get a quote only where we can perform.

03

Everything in writing

Supplier pricing, lead times, and origin are held on letterhead before a price is submitted. Nothing quoted is estimated or assumed.

04

Small business, direct principal

You correspond with the owner. No account layers, no handoffs, no delay between a question and the answer.

Our Approach

Joel Polley, Owner, Brave Works Marketing LLC

Joel PolleyOwner & Principal

Every requirement gets a team built around it.

Brave Works Marketing is owner-operated, and that is deliberate. When a solicitation comes in, I read it myself — the full document and every attachment, not the summary. Then I assemble the team that requirement actually needs: the manufacturers and authorized distributors who make the exact item, a documented second source behind each line, and the freight to put it on the dock on time.

That team is chosen per contract, not carried as overhead. It means the government pays for the product and the delivery, not for a layer of account managers between the requirement and the person answering for it. When a contracting officer has a question, it reaches the owner the same day.

  • Read the whole solicitation. Killer clauses live in the attachments, not the description. If the requirement includes installation or on-site labor, we decline it before we waste your evaluation time.
  • Build the supplier team to the spec. Exact part numbers, or an equal documented against every salient characteristic in writing. Never a silent substitution.
  • Two sources per line. A single supplier is a single point of failure, and supplier delay is not an excusable delay on a federal contract.
  • One person accountable. The owner quotes it, the owner answers for it, the owner follows it through delivery and acceptance.

Joel Polley is a registered nurse with twenty years of hospital critical-care experience — a background built on protocol discipline, documentation, and getting supply details exactly right the first time. Brave Works Marketing applies that same standard to federal supply contracts.
